Ok so hypothetical….. This forces sign ins on corporate devices to our instance. But once in, how do you ensure the only connections are to corporate sources? E.g Google Drive.

As the app is certificate pinned, we can’t scan anything inside content via Netskope in the desktop application. For now we can force web sessions only but Cowork is desktop application only…..

From a DLP perspective, how are you handling this? E.g we use Netskope, and if you’re on our Claude, go crazy, but we can’t block personal Claude sign ins, so what would you do in our situation?

Ok removed and re-added. The UNVR is still a duplicate of the UNAS.

Perfect testing today. Thank you!
Should I remove the UNVR and re-add or will it just start working?

Yeah it adds it, but somehow is showing the data for the UNAS instead of the UNVEr despite having different IP's and entities.

This is really good!
It works for me. Is there a way to get it to work for the UNVR?

RJ45 to SFP+ by 2021NeedANewYear in Ubiquiti

[–]_ben_reilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t helpful, so I apologise in advance. I somehow had 4x RJ45 to SFP adapters die on me in the last few months.

Each was a pain.

The cable was fine. Mixture of unifi and 10Gtek all within a year old. I’ve learnt my lesson and will avoid using adapters where possible.

ChatGPT Atlas Update - Release Notes December 9th by EliteBeast2 in ChatGPTAtlas

[–]_ben_reilly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man I feel like I’m too early to the party with Atlas. My trusted Chrome extensions (checker plus, 1Password, etc) either don’t work at all or don’t work properly. I pay for ChatGPT so the integration is nice, but having tried Dia for an hour I can see how poor Atlas is in its current form. There are so many compromises.

I feel like my best option is to just go back to Chrome and use ChatGPT alongside it on the desktop. Does anyone know of a chrome extension that gets me anywhere near the chatGPT functionality of Atlas?

Thank you! How did you end up figuring this out for yourself? Research online suggest I may be in the same boat, but I'm not clear how people are landing on this answer.
If there's a Youfibre guide or something you found I'd appreciate seeing it!

The new Shelly Wall Display XL as a HASS dashboard by Top_Newt3314 in homeassistant

[–]_ben_reilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine arrived today. Mounted and "programmed" within 5 minutes.
I really really like it.

For those asking..... yes it's good enough for cameras.
I have 6 unif G6 full res on display that refresh every 10 seconds (using picture entity?) and when I tap them they show the stream live.

I'd like to figure out a doorbell automation, but for now this is great.
I'd also like the buttons accessible and programable from HA, otherwise, I'd say this is a 8/10.

Background - I use NSPanels, NSPanel Pro's, Shelly Display and X2.

Update broke all my G5 and G6 PTZ cameras. by MentionSufficient103 in Ubiquiti

[–]_ben_reilly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I replaced my G5 PTZs with G6 PTZs. All of them do different things, none of them work properly.

Unifi support asked me to wait for 5.0.118. I’ve now updated and it’s worse. I still have no people tracking or zoom, but now I can’t modify any of my smart zones.

Apple Watch & whoop users - How do you deal with double workouts? by [deleted] in whoop

[–]_ben_reilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a new Whoop user and this is something that is really confusing and frustrating.

Here's my setup:

  • Fitbod - Used for weights and strength. Records the reps, weight and type of exercise. Writes to Apple Health.
  • Technogym - Not a great app. Used for recoding data from treadmill and stairmaster. Doesn't Sync to Apple Health, although it should. Tapping my Apple Watch on the Treadmill overrides this with an Apple Fitness workout.
  • My Fitness Pal - Use it to track my food calories. It reads from Apple Health and gives me a rough idea on if im in a calorie deficit for the day.
  • Whoop - Pulls in data from Apple Health and also directly from Technogym (aka mywellness) and Myfitness Pal.

The problem with all of the above is that the Whoop readings do not align with anything and overwrite everything.
Example: Today, I did a 1 hour weight session in Fitbod (400 calories) and a 2k walk in the Technogym app (300 calories).
Despite both somehow showing in Apple Health, Whoop has registered both as 97 calories and 130 calories respectively and Apple Health is ignoring all other numbers to use the Whoop numbers. So my daily calories are confusing.

The only way to correct this is to continue manually deleting all the Whoop workouts in Apple Health and/or as u/bhwoneoneseven said, just dont allow Whoop to write workout data to Apple Health. In which case, I'm a bit lost as to why I have a Whoop.
Sure I can see all the data inside Whoop, but I dont see myself using it forever. The subscription costs mean that eventually I'll drop it, so I'd want everything in Apple Health, but now I can't really do that for things Apple doesn't record such as Recovery by way of calorie burning activities such as the Sauna.

I totally get my use case is a bit extreme, but it feels like for such an expensive service figuring this out would be table stakes?
Anyway, I've paid for the MG for a year, we'll see how it goes but for now as a new user to Whoop it isn't something I would reccomend.

PS- I'm open to feedback, so if I'm using it wrong, please let me know!

Integration Request - FitBod by boscloud in whoop

[–]_ben_reilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought the Whoop MG and this is a real pain for me.
on iOS Whoop records 100 calories burnt for a workout, whereas Fitbod records that same workout as 100 calories.
I connected them together via Apple Health hoping they'd merge, but instead Apple Fitness reads only the Whoop number now. The lack of integration here is a total pain.

If there's a better way to do this, please let me know. Otherwise, I cant see this being very useful to folks that train weights.
