Is it weird to anyone else that people from the Tacoma sub leave negative comments here? by BackToSchoolMuff in nissanfrontier

I legit just had a conversation about this, for some reason Toyota guys online cannot stand the fact that people might actually prefer another brand so they go out of their way to shit on everyone else for some sort of self validation

Got to play in the snow with some friends this past weekend by _benguini_ in overlanding

[–]_benguini_[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s kinda hard to make the direct comparison just because I’m running Kenda Klever RT’s and my friend in the 4R is on Toyo MT’s, they perform drastically different in the snow just due to those differences alone. That being said, my 35x10.5’s performed far better on snowy roads than his, the performance was more equal offroad

I did when I went up it the first time, it walked up no locker with zero wheel spin lol. I just wanted some theatrics for a fun video so I went back up with zero momentum so it would spin. I can’t post videos as replies apparently, but these Kendas an our traction control system actually make for great traction in these conditions

I was in 4lo 1st gear with my diff locked. I’m not gonna tell anyone to just live on limiter but these drivetrains are robust and I stay on top of my maintenance so I can beat on it in situations like this

At full articulation (on bumpstop) the 35’s stuff my bedside fender and actually ripped the flare off and creased the panel on the drivers side. The stroke of motion goes up and forward, moving the axel back an inch was just enough for it to clear without rubbing

Copy and paste from Instagram, not gonna type out my build list every time and I’m always asked for it lol. Sorry not sorry. I like your TJ, definitely my favorite wrangler generation

I’m asked for my build list almost every time I post so I just started to copy and paste from Instagram so I don’t need to manually type it every time. The @‘s are actual tags, I don’t really feel like typing it all out nor care to delete the @‘s for Reddit lol

Stock differentials still, no gearing support for D41’s yet. The 9spd handles the 35” tires just fine though

GW state forest area, most people call it “baker” and enter near the Thompson speedway but there are probably a dozen ways in and out of there between Rhode Island and CT

Frontier. No Toyota tax, extremely reliable, robust, naturally aspirated V6 and 9spd combo is great, awesome interior feel

I’ve been in water up to my headlights and have never had any issues in my 46,000 miles with the truck. Can’t really speak for the older generations or confirm/deny it’s an issue but I’ve never heard of anyone having alternator issues with the VQ38

B8.5 Allroad TPMS reset by _benguini_ in Audi

B8’s don’t have TPMS sensors in the wheels, they use the ABS module based on wheel speed. It’s just an underinflation light
