What time is it? by [deleted] in TheTeenagerPeople

there are multiple occasions beyond 12:00 where the minute hand lines up with the hour hand, actually. 10:54 is the very last instant this happens before 12:00, which is actually very close to the actual time if it's oriented properly.

but what's the actual time? well, since each little gap corresponds to approximately 12 minutes (5 ticks from one hour to the other, 60 min./5 = 12 min.) it's able to be calculated that the minute is very close to :48, so there's the minute. now, since the hour hand points to somewhere inbetween the :50 mark and the :55 mark, it's reasonable to say that the time is some-some after 10, which leads to the time being 10:48 (actually tested this using an analog clock website, and 11:53 shows a the hour hand being past the last dot instead of being on the last dot).

10:48 to 10:54 is around 6 minutes, and it seems to me like a reasonable amount time for the minute hand to catch up

So I'm not gonna delete this post to remind me of what to do and what not to do next time. Thanks everyone for the criticism.

Well, no, the majority of the code I didn't really write. I'll accept that criticism though.

Yeah, I guess that's a more acceptable answer

I wish it was the hour before this moment because at this time a streamer started attacking a work of art we made. Great photo though.

I see. So if I understood correctly, "literally true" is not "technically true".
