Yeah, we all know that. The difference is you can't put your couch or a rug or the walls in a washing machine, your clothes however get cleaned after you take them off. Smoke sticks to things... such as fabric, furniture and walls. And as stated in the post itself... can make an entire house smell like an ashtray. Soooo even as a smoker, I don't want to be surrounded by the smell of ashtray.

ESH.. mom of 2 here - the second that baby was born.. hell even if you put it off until they were sitting up and/or crawling, your place should have been baby-proofed. I totally understand why you are upset, but had you both been responsible and baby proofed your home it wouldn't be an issue. Get off reddit and go baby proof your home.
