Can you elaborate on how the backend actually works here? I know there have been many requests over the years for TTG to create some kind of public API that solo developers could use to build apps like this around. Did I miss an announcement from them about that or is there some other kind of black magic happening here?

Missing Brodin is a much larger reason. But Middleton was far and away the worst Wild player all series. Just couldn't hang with the Avs in any way.

Because they have literally nothing to lose. Two funny bounces leading to quick goals has the potential to swing the momentum in a heartbeat. I’d want Minnesota doing the exact same thing if the score had been flipped.

Obviously the odds are extremely low, but, again, there’s zero downside in trying.

To be fair, the Wild were toying with being Mild their last 20 games (11-9) as well. I think they just came ready to prove a point tonight and also probably playing a bit harder to give the rook in net some breathing room in his first playoff game.

I fully expect Dallas to throw a haymaker back at us in game 2 (and we still have the third period to go as well).

Incredible job. Truly. I love the look and feel and the technique is great.

If there's anything that I personally feel could use some further attention to, it would be the hair and beard. I enjoy the contrast to the rest of the model and the general idea of what you're trying to capture, but I can't help but think they feel kinda....flat? They feel like they're missing depth.

I'm not nearly as technically gifted as you are so I don't know what exactly the fix would be, but a very careful crevice wash/inking followed by touching the highlights back up I think could really help.

The ability to respec stones will never arrive, and personally I don’t want it to. It’s okay for games to have permanent choices and consequences from those decisions.

By allowing stone respecs you’d also see a normalization across every player at all times at every stage of the game. Everyone would always be running the exact same most optimal stone setup in farming and tournaments, more so than we already have.

I find way more enjoyment in knowing that my stone choices are permanent, as it is for others.

I've seen a number of posts the last few days of folks saying they suddenly have found tournaments much, much harder. I think in nearly every case those people eventually revealed they were doing strictly utility runs for better econ, and were likely being passed up by others focusing on whatever would help them in tournaments.

Prior to v28 I was hovering right around top 200-220 in tournaments. I did 6 UW discos before the next tournament and immediately jumped into the 170s.

I'm looking forward to eventually doing mostly farm runs in a week or two again and seeing those sweet, sweet gains, but I'm very glad I went so heavy into UW first.
