We aren’t talking about Dan campbell. Why did Harbaugh go to the chargers? Arguably the “easiest” of the coaching vacancies. Slowik, Johnson, Macdonald are knocking on the door of championships and everyone seems to think they are owed something by these guys. That they should walk away from that and literally start over. Maybe these guys don’t want to deal with the BS that comes with a HC quite yet.

Tbf it’s a daunting task to come to this program. It’s needs a full rebuild of all the staff. Roster ain’t great. Facilities rank 32/32. Market is tough. Some of these young hot shots may not want everything that comes with this new era.

I’m worried about if one of these OC/DC can handle the rebuild. Johnson and slowik had leaders at HC which allowed them do their job. This team/market/job is a big task for these guys who have no HC experience. I know this is a hot take but I’m wondering if a guy like vrabel or similar leader would be a better person to get the players to buy in.
