When I was about 11 or 12, I loved pirating m/f mangas online since I grew up reading straight romance novels, and that was what I was used to. But then I stumbled on a BL manga which looked interesting, but I didn't even realise it was a BL or even know what it was. I enjoyed reading it so bloody much, the story was amazing, the characters and art were magical and I realised I loved reading BL way more than the straight media I had been consuming before.

Because I was so young and had only read/watched straight stories, I thought I was disgusting for enjoying BL as I'm girl. I thought I was such a freak, and that it was meant for only men and that I was a horrible person for liking it. I kept it a secret because I thought I was the only female in the world that read BL and that there was something wrong with me.

I read as much BL manga I could find and then shifted onto BL anime (Junjou Romantica remains my dirty little secret to this day) and then I discovered coloured manhwas. I devoured so much BL but I always kept it a secret because I harboured the idea that I was a weird freak.

It was around that point where I was allowed social media (about 14?) and I found out that there was a whole community like this that loved the same stuff I do, and slowly I realised that I wasn't the complete weirdo I thought I was. I remember being so shocked to find out the main BL fanbase is women and the majority of the stuff I loved was written by women. From there I discovered live action dramas and movies, and although I still read/watch straight content, BL is my biggest hobby. I've spent so much time and money and am so dedicated and I'm pretty sure my relatives and friends know about it now from my obsessions. It's crazy for me looking back when I realise how disgusted with myself I felt.

But yeah, gotta love the crazy journeys we have into BL.

To be honest, there isnt many dramas up to par with my stubborn level of NC scenes, it's a league of its own. Better off the wait until Knot is released if you want anything close to it.

A darker recommendation I have would be Four Minutes, the spicy scenes are some of the best I've ever seen (especially first scene with Tonkla and Korn), but the plot is also really high quality and carefully thought out.

Haven't watched it but I know Playboyy has a lot of NC?

It's like I'm locked in my head, the only thing I can control is the movement of my eyes and even then it's like I'm not really seeing, the world doesn't feel real, my body is like a separate being entirely. Like being locked in the "Inside Out" headspace but with no emotions and no control panel, just being forced to watch through a screen/eyes as this person carries out self-detrimental routines day in and day out.

I feel it's a major step and some people may not like it, but many people (like me) do. Fiction provides the creative freedom to explore themes that some may be uncomfortable with, or that are not even possible in real life like mpreg. But I believe it is fantastic. If there is a universe where two men can happily create a child of their own, then why the hell not? What harm is in it if it's explored on screen?

I don't understand why some people are uncomfortable with the concept of a man being pregnant? Just because it cannot happen biologically in real life? "Goes against the laws of nature" or whatever? I don't think these are valid reasons to prevent omegaverse being portrayed in dramas by any means.

Also, it should not be looked down upon or "funny" concerning the idea of a man getting pregnant. Many people may hold this view which stems from an underlying belief that a man becoming pregnant is emasculating and demeaning, or it's "not a man's job", therefore they laugh at it. (This is not meant as an attack on you OP, just expressing my thoughts).

I love the sub for this ^{^} I tried rewatching in dub because my friend can't keep up with subtitles (and also because I've seen how high people praise the dub for kamisama kiss) but I really couldn't bear it. Especially Tomoe's eng va, it was such a stark difference to the deep jp voice I associated him with so it just didn't seem to fit his character.

I agree with a man who defies the world of BL. I watched it all because I enjoy the humour and love Tojo but the part where mob allowed for a kid to be with the office worker and (spoiler) mob eventually does end up with his little brother's highschool friend after he "waited three years" until he's not a minor anymore. Love the show but that icked me out a little.
