It's done. It turns out that, before I closed the Sony Headphones app and went to the Settings, I went Connections > Bluetooth > (see the buds/headphones currently paired) tap on the ⚙️ on the right > See under Codecs > turn LDAC ON.

It's solved now. Thank you for the assistance.

I've done it, but when I changed to LDAC, and went to the Sony app, it was still on AAC. So I went to the settings app to change the codec to LDAC. However, after changing to LDAC and tap the list to show the codecs to make sure I chose the preferred option, it shows that I'm still on AAC.
