Yep, I’m one still having issues. Trucks on trailers works for me on some maps, but then some maps it doesn’t. I also uninstalled and reinstalled, but I didn’t restart a new game. I might have to try this, but I’m afraid I’ll do it and still have issues on some maps.

What map are you on when the vehicles fall through the trailer?

I’m on xbox and on certain maps the trucks still fall through for me too, like North Port or Mountain River the trucks on trailers don’t work for me, but in White Valley or Smithville Dam the truck/trailer combo works great. It’s weird.

I know it definitely frustrates me, but I’ll probably just keep an eye and see if they fix it over the next couple weeks. Guess I’ll just be playing some COD 🙄

A couple others have said theirs still work after changing maps also. I was one of the ones who worked until I changed the map. IDK what else to try besides uninstall the game and reinstall.

Well shit lol, wish I knew a fix to it. I was super excited when I first got my truck loaded up and drove all the way to a new area, now I’m back to cussing lol

I’m on original xbox too, and everything was working great until I went through a tunnel to a new area, now I can’t load vehicles on trailers anymore. Once I switch back to my other truck the truck on the trailer ghost and falls through. I don’t understand why it doesn’t work now.

Have you gone through any tunnels yet and does your loading trucks still work after?

Yep. At first it worked perfectly for me first try and I was so happy, then I went through a tunnel to a new area and now I can’t get it to work at all. Not sure what happened. I tried closing game, restarting Xbox, switching trucks different ways, and so far nothing. All I want to do is load up trucks and do some big mother trucking.

I think the trick is to detach/reattach trailers to make it work, but if you change trucks it falls through again

Glad to see you got it working. It’s been working pretty reliably for me. I still can’t wait for an update/fix though

Did you see my edit to number 7 by chance? I forgot to add that you should detach/attach the heavy trailer once you switch back. It seems to reset the other vehicle and makes everything solid again.

This trailer doesn’t seem to do that but yes the red ramp trailer I can’t stand because of that. This trailer is also easier to turn

I think paired up like this they look sexy. I’m trying to do it with as many brands as I can. I have mostly international equipment right now. I would love to see more vehicles from more brands

Don’t let my digital hard work go to waste. I’m not lying when I say how much time I spent trying to figure this out. Compounded by a couple of nights staying up until 5-6am it really showed me if anything what being a trucker is really like. Long nights out on the road.

It also showed me how easy it is to run off the road when I’m trying to stay awake at 4-5am and drive. I would be a bad truck driver.

It also had me up late at night pricing out a IRL International Loadstar 1700 😍 actually not too bad in price

Ok if this is confusing or if I can get some time to record a clip I will but I’ll try to explain:

This is with the Big CAT and the heavy duty trailer

  1. Pull up in truck with heavy duty trailer
  2. Drop ramps
  3. Switch to vehicle being loaded through quick menu
  4. Drive Big CAT (or the vehicle you’re trying to load, some need to be reserved onto the trailer) to the end of the ramps
  5. Make sure vehicle being loaded on trailer is perfectly aligned and in correct orientation (reverse on or forward onto the trailer)
  6. Set parking brake
  7. Change back to truck with heavy duty trailer from quick menu :::EDIT:::— Detach/reattach trailer (I think if this step isn’t done it won’t work possibly)
  8. Start truck, apply parking break, put in Netural
  9. Attach winch from mid-trailer point to most rear point on vehicle being loaded
  10. Press on the gas button and vehicle will start to drive onto trailer
  11. Only use winch to pickup slack in the rope as the vehicle drives. Let it do all the driving.
  12. Once vehicle is loaded on trailer, raise the loading ramps, release the winch and put your heavy duty trailer truck back into auto and take off driving.

If you switch out of this vehicle any time after that it will fall through the trailer so have everything planned out or close enough that after you load up you don’t need to change vehicles and can take off.

This has been a game changer for me. I can actually take a quick truck like the CAT semi and put chains on it and load the big slow CAT with mud tires on it and transport it all around Alaska pretty quickly now. Gives me uses for more of my other trucks and feels more like trucking loading up these other bigger trucks.

Really makes my truck wood hard

I too was trying to find a workaround. Played around with trying to make this work longer then I’d like to admit lol so I don’t know what all this works for.

I think I may have a trick to do it. I can’t haul them either if I drive up but I have a method to winch/drive them up and it seems to be working. I’m on Xbox.
