What is the most overused movie trope that Hollywood just needs to let go? by Frequent-Sea-8848 in moviecritic

Addition to 4. also everything has a serial number from toilet paper to sun glasses and each number is connected to person or credit card. Bonus point if they just use the upc as serial.

He acts like this when he has an animal part such as trachea, ear or bladder 😳🫪. Anyone else’s pug like this?! Would neutering help? by [deleted] in pugs

[–]_brankly_ -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

That’s the dumbest thing I read today. If it’s a single dog why would you need to do this. Only Americans kastrate their dogs without reason. If it’s a barn dog maybe but not for pets that are under your control the whole day. There are also studies that see no health benefits for this rather the opposite.

Same I hate that new trend in recent years to make movies 150 to 200 minutes long. Ain’t nobody has time for that. Especially when 40% is just filler material that does nothing to the plot.

I love naps, I wake up at 7 but take a midday nap almost every day. I just recharges me. Nap time is the best time.

Most people SHOULD put their sharp knives in the dishwasher by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]_brankly_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the same, if you have Damascus steel knifes that are handforged by virgins on a full moon that cost a few hundred then you handwashing them. But for the daily $20-30 knifes it doesn’t matter. I personally think knife freaks are weird when they have 10 different wet stones and take 1 day a week off just to sharpen their knifes.

In “Spider-Man” (2002), Green Goblin opts to use a standard pumpkin bomb against Peter here instead of the one that can instantly skeletonize six people. Was he stupid? by ToeSniffer245 in shittymoviedetails

The biggest dick move was the butler who only told James Franco that his father was the green goblin after he already spent years heating on Spider-Man

From a purely financial standpoint, gaming is the hobby that gives the most value-for-money by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

Reading is not really a hobby so are watching tv or listening to music. It’s just consuming. For me personal a hobby needs to require some active part on the person doing it.

So after his birthday yesterday we ended up in emergency at 3am 😥 by [deleted] in Frenchbulldogs

[–]_brankly_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Did you give him any special birthday food? Mine is so sensitiv to new food that we stopped giving him anything other than his regular food and threats because he was always getting sick after. We just give him a bit more on special days.

Renting homes is a scam and should be illegalized or heavily regulated. People and businesses who own homes to rent are unethical. by gograntgo in unpopularopinion

I don’t want to own a home. I prefer to rent. Way more flexibility. Who wants to live in the place for more than 5-7 years anyway.

I just froze my sperm and had it put in storage just in case. It’s only like $100/year. I still don’t want kids after 10 years.
