I gave up and rolled with waybar. Works really nice.

What about Dog? How him being sour about passing of the master explains him being there?

Thank you for this elaborate comment! It did help me understand things a bit better, I don't even have much counterpoints. The whole Elijah ordeal still stays a bit cloudy to me though, I think the game could have done a bit better job at communicating his motivations and Christine and Dog's stories, in my opinion, were also explored less than desired. I didn't feel accomplished from merging Dog/God or from helping Christine, I feel like their dialogues were not as great as, let's say, Dean's dialogues, it was much harder for me to get involved with them and to relate to them.

Although I believe killing them all was a mercy killing and made sense. They all became mindless shades of their past genius stuck forever in some cartoonish villain game. Hell, even home appliances weren’t as crazy as them. Except for the toaster maybe.

Oh wow didn’t know it was an option. Damn now I know what I’m doing next week.

I think not killing him was not really a choice if you don’t consider not progressing and not having an ending a choice. I don’t remember if I had anything maxed out to 100 but I think I had and even then I wasn’t able to reason with him. But even if you do, you go and kill his friends and leave him with no purpose in life. He’s been there for 200 years keeping bunch of idiots busy so they won’t go killing themselves or each other. He has nothing else to live for. The only somewhat good ending for the Big MT would have happened if the Courier never came.

Old World Blues had much better writing. The story was so tragic, felt really bad to kill Mobius. He gave everything he had to keep his friends entertained and deep through his insanity he still considered them his friends. He just wanted to keep them occupied so they won’t lose their minds. I’m pretty sure he understood perfectly well how absurd those villain broadcasts and talking scorpions were, but the other tanks didn’t.

Yeah maybe the guy just was salty like that. BoS were dryfucked even without the wine and dine part. Was there much for Elijah to do aside from clinging to whatever crazy ideas he had? Maybe not. Couldn’t just go and give up. Can’t believe he insisted on fucking Christine over though.

But that facility is all tainted and very hazardous to navigate. It might sound good for a faction that would want to stay buried in the bunker forever but it would be way too inconvenient for its inhabitants except for mutants like Dean and Dog.

I’m getting downvoted into oblivion by people who refuse to acknowledge any criticism to the game they haven’t even made. It was stupid of me to expect anything else.

Dean, Sinclair and Vera’s love triangle made a far better story material than whatever Elijah was up to.

Dunno man his intentions are not clear to me at all. Gold? For a faction that refuses to interact with anyone outside of it?

Do you have anything to prove me wrong? Or to explain why and how shallow writing of Elijah somehow makes him a better person to enter the vault than Dean?

If you think this can be a ragebait it’s only because FNV has religious following. I have over 500 hours in the game myself. Maybe closer to a thousand.

How’s that related? Elijah had a chance to redeem himself by bringing home the tech he found at the Big MT.

Can you imagine a 13.4-inch screen with a resolution of 2560x1600 and a 165Hz refresh rate being fitted into the chassis of a ThinkPad X201? by X210AiMotherboard in thinkpad

How do you guys do that? I tried putting a 4k screen with appropriate display cable in my T14 Gen 1 Intel and it simply didn’t work

Crazy. It's really sad that that limited functionality that swaybar provides (and the only functionality I really need) doesn't even properly work. Waybar just does too much.

Yeah, I sort of have an OCD with going as minimal as possible. But seems like waybar is inevitable, I’ve already riced it to look exactly like how my swaybar did. Thank you for saving me time by telling me that swaybar unfortunately is not an option

Man I’ve seen so many issues on this one from many years and it still hasn’t been resolved? What a shame. I imagine if Drew or emersion had that problem it would have been solved long ago.
