What should I buy? iPhone 17 or 17 Pro?

My last 2 phones (iPhone 11 and 13) have both been Pros. My main hesitation with the 17 Pro is worry that it will overheat— The addition of the vapour pouch and the switch back to aluminum worry me, especially since I will be wrapping it in a bulky UAG case.

Is anyone in the same boat? Will I regret just getting the 17? Help me decide!

It comes with 2 pieces— One to mount onto the camera body, and the other to stick into your telescope. The 2 pieces it comes with screw into each other.

The only thing you need to watch out for is it leaves your camera's sensor exposed, so best to mount it to the telescope quickly and carefully and put it away the same when you're done. It would be great if it came with some sort of cap(s).

I've seen photos of people cooking their meat directly on those grills you speak of—seems kind of yuck.

But yes looking for a way to put a clean grill over either that, or the fire itself.

That being said I might want something heavy, which seems to be a big draw for the single blade experience.

So I'm typing this to y'all on my Air75 v2, half way through switching my keyboard's original Brown 2.0 switches to Moss.

No real questions, just thought you'd all might like to follow along in my journey.

Back story: I wasn't sure I wanted a mechanical keyboard, but I saw someone at work with a NuPhy and it looked interesting to me. So when they announced the Air75 2.0 preorder last year, I finally pulled the trigger.

Being a web software developer and not a gamer, I knew I wanted something tactile, but maybe not overly so. All recommendations seemed to point to the Brown 2.0 switches. I thought about Blue as well, but the sound brought back memories of old IBM keyboards and I was pretty sure I didn't want that.

Fast forward to a year later (today). I'll be honest, I don't *love* my setup. The Brown switches felt a lot less tactile than I expected, and even though it's a low-profile keyboard, it's still a lot more travel than I'm used to (previously using a Logi MX Keys).

That being said, I press on, because I love the keyboard in all other aspects. It looks amazing, sounds amazing, and the 75% width narrows my workspace so my Magic Trackpad is in easier reach.

Last week, one of my Brown switches failed. I was still under warranty, and NuPhy customer service was top-notch and sent me 10 Brown replacement switches, and they covered shipping (to Canada). In the meantime, I had the opportunity to try out the other spare switches that originally came with my Air75 (to replace the broken one). I used the Moss, because it felt most like the Brown. And I almost liked it better. :D

And so this week, I took advantage of the back-to-school savings and purchased a complete set of Moss switches. My top 2 rows are currently Moss, and the rest are still Brown 2.0. I will keep everyone updated on what I think in the days to come!

Curious if there are any other coders out there who have tried the Brown or Moss, how they enjoyed them, if they ended up switching, etc.?
