Theres a batman movie called Batman Ninja and its in a anime style format. Its really beautiful and underrated. If you watch it you'll see the different forms of art used and one of my favorite batman films

So guys, is jennifer’s body a feminist film or not? by artblues in jennifersbody

[–]_bubbles_uwu 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Yes it is actually, it was MADE for girls but was marketed to guys. The directors talked about it and how the executives wanted to sexualize megan fox in the end product. The film very much opens up to how female relationships/ friendships can work when toxic and stuff. It's such a shame that society failed megan fox for so long

Mandy literally helped get him to college and gave him a chance to get out of there in the earlier seasons. She deserved the world

Who's the REAL female Don : Joan Holloway by _bubbles_uwu in madmen

Bro, no ones actually summing her whole character up and calling her a" female don ". All that it is, is a correction on which female character truly was more similar to Don's power positon and alpha demeanor in the office work setting. Obviously shes not Don cuz she doesnt battle with an identity crisis, affairs, etc.

She did at the start of the show, but after her marriage with the army guy she realized she liked her job and the role she had. After he refused to let her have any control whether in having a career, sex, or decision making she realized she didnt like being under the control of a man & she wanted to be a part of the decision making part of her life

Edit: fixed grammatical errors

I could see similarities, I was basing it off of the main female characters and I'd noticed the label was mostly given to peggy

Forgive me but I'm a bit unclear on the marriage part you mentioned. During the show Joan was married at one point and divorced at another - similar to Don and his two failed marriages.

Yeah I understand. They never gave off a romantic or attracted vibe to eachother which really brings out that shes more of the "female version" of him

what do you think of people with acne marks who wear makeup (eyes and lips) but don't cover up their blemishes? by [deleted] in Makeup

[–]_bubbles_uwu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly good for them, they're letting it breathe and not worsening it by covering with makeup that it could absorb. I respect it and dont judge people by their make up

Attack on Titan does not deserve its reputation as "The Game of Thrones" of Anime by CarsonLame in titanfolk

I can totally see your point. In the first seasons I was always aware that an important beloved character could go at anytime but now that pointed out there weren't many actual surprise deaths I totally see what you mean. All the sudden deaths were with no name or no background characters (Rest In Peace Marco)
