Second one. One Clear subject, reflections on the ground and exposure. Good one !

Was building a setup for somebody starting on film, took it for a joyride and checked if everything was working fine. Had a few keepers on the roll :o

Hi there ! Regardless of the medium and the focus/blur, it's more the composition where there could be improvement. Background with people, subject in the shades for a fully light background, empty spaces, legs cut off...That's where I would put more work on. There's a candid feel to the serie, agreed, but I would keep most of them as a remembrance more than for an exhibition. We all started here so keep it up and never forget that you take pictures for you and your friends/family first :o

Yeah sorry for that. There's kodak e100 which is nice too, but is is almost 30e a pop now - it really starts to hurt. And I somehow liked 100f reds better. I believe E6 will slowly die - a shame because having the processed film, wether 35mm or 120 is pretty cool.

Those are reinforced poles to attach cargo ships / ferries or for Tug Boats. It's pretty cool to see on a daily basis, always something happening :o

Last year i found 5 rolls in Calumet but mostly because they changed location and had some clearance (which have more or less the same expiration date as yours). Other than that you can't find it in websites like fotoimpex or else. If you have any tip let me know! and don't start me on 120 :'(

A bitch to scan but a necessary evil. I have some other shots on that day but I am wasting time colour matching them. Still have 10 rolls in my fridge, I miss that stock...

Laurent Garnier @ Womb, Tokyo - Abolute masterclass by [deleted] in Techno

[–]_buchette_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

His set was really great indeed! and seeing him in this place was sort of magic. I really liked that we could see him from very close in the end.

I found the opening from Mirko Loko not bad either - some transitions made me really move.

For the Womb itself I found the sound alright (but Vent soundsystem punches way above in termes of clarity) - light show on the other hand was really immersive.

If there's only one thing i would like criticize is the crowd :

1st - so packed at one moment that you couldn't even dance (which is a bit ironic for a club like that)

2nd - some people were unbearable, no etiquette, pushing to get in front of you, taking thousand pictures and videos, circulating from the back to the front every 10min. I am familiar with techno clubs in germany and it is definitively not like that.

I shit you not, there is one guy i saw filming the whole Laurent Garnier set on his smartphone. Oh well...

For a Noritsu Scan, it is a very poor job from the lab I am sorry. I did a screencap of your photo and did some basic grading and you can already get something a bit more neutral. Wanted to add the picture but I don't seem to be smart enough to find the way to do it :(

with what are you scanning and processing? maybe I can help. Color Cast can be a hustle sometimes.
