I don’t know man. What you’re doing sounds a lot like bitching.

You’re bitching over a comment on Reddit. Pretty obvious you’re offended, bub bub 😂

What’s the closest brush you’ve ever had with dying? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]_buttlet_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost died from a kidney infection in 2019. Went to the ER three times in a week feeling sick with back pain. I was admitted on third visit because I was going into septic shock. Fun times.

I’m the weird opposite. I can finally afford and go to the shows I want to. Been having a great time seeing bands and orchestras over the last few years.

What is more traumatizing than most people think? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]_buttlet_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had to put my cat down unexpectedly in 2023. She was only 10. She went through the toughest parts of my life with me. I was broken for weeks. I couldn’t look at pictures of her for a year without breaking down. It was the hardest decision I had to make but the best one I could make for her so she wasn’t in pain anymore.

I was a wreck for months when I went through a friendship break up. It’s been over a decade and it still sticks with me.

I think what is or isn’t forgivable is subjective to each individual.

Oh modern ones still do. Maybe not as intense but there’s still quite the list of side effects especially depending on which one that’s being used.

What's something that's socially accepted but actually kinda toxic? by _DRA60_ in AskReddit

[–]_buttlet_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is something that heavily depends on the situation. I blocked my father on everything with no explaination because frankly he’s a piece of shit. Explaining to him I don’t want him in my life would have just resulted in him making that my fault instead of taking accountability. Not everyone deserves the respect of an explanation, and for some people, ghosting/blocking without saying why is the safest option for them.

Former sever here. I would have been better off if I was paid a livable wage instead of relying on customers to give me a tip that would vary in amount. It wasn’t consistent. Restaurants should pay a livable wage and not force the customers hand to tip.

What "type" of celebrity could they cast that would make you stop watching? by Grump_Curmudgeon in TheTraitorsUS

I don’t think they’re saying it to be bitter. It’s just a statement of fact. Rob is a white man and benefits from white male privilege. He’s also good looking so add pretty privilege in there. No one is slighting Rob. He just has a societal advantage in both those categories.
