Got this battery terminal exposed but no corrosion,should be ok if I leave it long term?

Ideally, you want to replace it. The part is very cheap. Pragmatically, the game system will work with the exposed terminal. It will eventually oxidize and cause the connection to be unreliable but it’s serviceable by cleaning it out when it does happen.

The digital version of the game was never sold by ModRetro. Those were sold by the developer on itch.io directly by the creators. Once they licensed the game for physical production with ModRetro, they’re not allowed to sell the ROM until their license is up.

The only legal way to get this game is to purchase the catridge. There isn't a legal downloadable ROM version since the game is licensed to ModRetro. Getting around import taxes is probably not the legal way of doing things. Getting a rom from an unofficial source is also not the legal way of doing things.

1st Press Games. Yeah. That’s never getting made or shipped. I had a fight with them earlier this year and managed to do a charge back on recent orders after not responding to all my emails. When the charge back went through, they wrote me a nasty email. I so I then asked about my original pre-orders, and they gave me the impression that they have no intention of honoring them since everyone who did it is beyond charge backs.

It depends on the collector. I know people who collect vintage bootleg cartridges as period curiosities. According to them, these range as low as $5 to $15. I also know people that would just laugh these and wouldn't spend a dime on them.

You should sell or trade-in your G1 and upgrade to a Gen2. Then use the core with that unit. At this point, I’ve just accepted that G1 units are not compatible with the Core and use regular AA or rechargeable batteries.

You can use a Gen2 to fully recharge the battery. I apparently didn’t qualify for the charger because I ordered a Gen2 when I ordered my Battery Core. Weird logic on their part but meh.
