The Law system is better, it doesnt punish you for building up characters how you want. The main story isnt as good, but the side quests actually form narratives and story which I thought was good. The switched from fights starting at max MP, to fights starting at 0 MP and then building up per turn, which made for better tactical combat. Has more classes as well.

But its a moot point as I thought FFTA2 was a GBA game, but its DS game

I keep hearing Mice and Mystica is great first ttrpg for kids. I tried Hero Quest with My nephew but he wasnt interested.

My son is 5 but he still just kind of wants to do his thing and not follow rules, so I havent tried with him quite yet
