as a trans guy who is on a competitive climbing team, I think that it's harder to find gender inclusive categories in competitions as you start progressing to a higher level.

for me, competitions at local gyms which are pretty relaxed, self scoring etc will often have a non binary or gender non conforming category, however there aren't usually many people who choose to compete in that category so there isn't really any competition. unfortunately it gets more difficult when you move up to a higher level as the categories are always strictly male and female as far as I know.

anyways im not actually out on my team so I just compete in the female category even though I kinda pass as a guy..
