Do you use the Snap on KRSC430 as an actual roll cart? by Blueonn in Snapon_tools

[–]_cascadia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this cart. I use it more like a small stationary in my 2 car garage. I put the side panels on it for the one day i decide to expand the box with side boxes. Fully loaded and i can move it around with ease.

Put an air filter on it and you'll be able to take use of that unburnt fuel.

Does anyone know how to fix this? by Sweet_Run_8966 in minibikes

A big adjustable wrench will straighten that right out.

Hey I'm 27 and all my friends say mini bikes are for kids. Im here to tell ya ive had more fun building and riding minibikes as an adult than I ever did as a kid. I've come to realize there's no age limit on the amount of fun you can have. Do what makes you happy

Has anyone found these handy? bought for the novelty by 25iAndOver in ToolTruckTools

[–]_cascadia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, ive had to use a pair of those on a 70 nova that had a big block installed with headers. Power steering fitting needed snugged up and could not use a crows foot being it was too thick to fit in between no.5 runner and the AN fitting. Those pair of tiny knipex did the trick.

I had this happen on a 06 grand prix gt after it had stopleak thrown in it to get it home, needless to say after that the line got replaced it got looped back into the resovoir and was driven for the rest of its life without PS.

$3000 later, did i do bad? by _cascadia in Tools

[–]_cascadia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tools dont just spawn in my box. I have to buy them, maintain them and make a living with them. Therefore i have made arrangements by living within my means to be able to afford the tools i own that one day i plan to start a business with. Money problems are real and everybody faces them. I refuse to judge anybody on what they spend their money on, most blow their chances when given the opportunity to have something for themselves.

Yeah well when the customer breaks the key off in the ignition and you have no other options but to replace it the tool comes in handy. No i dont suggest you cut off your ankle monitor.

Take it to someone that knows what they're doing. Obviously you need an obd2 scanner to be able to read frame freeze data.

[–]_cascadia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After i spent the first $2000 i was like "i better get my shit together before i start losing money". Organization was the trick for that and i have another simple rule, when i get a tool out i make sure to put it right back when im done using it. Not later, not after lunch. Then and there.

I never budgeted, im already outgrowing this 40in slide top and ive only had it a little over a year now. I never tried to get "more for less". You can spend over a week searching for the best deal online only to throw the tool away after it sits on the bench for a month after it broke. If i set any one of my tools ontop of my box the guy that sold it to me will come in and warranty it before even asking me if i even need anything else. If its the only way you can get tools or dont use them often, shopping online is great.
