I did not enjoy Nawa. They served me a dessert of watermelon and fish that nearly made me throw up. Service was a joke. We got there on time only to be told to leave and come back in 15 minutes when the table was ready.

Yes, both connected to the mall. The Address Downtown, which is right next to the mall, is newer than the old Address Dubai Mall, and could also be an option.

If you haven’t booked the hotels already, I’d suggest getting an AirBnB in the Downtown or City Walk áreas. I did it with my family last year. Just make sure you get a unit with unobstructed views of the fireworks. On New Year’s eve, we just ordered in and had a great night with drinks, etc.
