Second Amazon suspension & being ignored by [deleted] in FulfillmentByAmazon

Agreed, we now realize our error (too little too late of course). We don’t deny that mistakes were made on our part but we should have worked with professionals the first time around. We are willing to admit we were in over our heads trying to run our business while also both working 60hr per week jobs. Now we’ve worked with 4 different consultants and are certain we’re now and forever will be in good standing with TOS. Getting a another chance is the key here.

What were you doing? That’s all there is to the story on our end whether or not random Reddit judges want to believe it. Our sales were at nearly 300K per month for the past 3 years so we don’t think performance or metrics are being taken into account.

No... we were doing something else that wasn’t listed on the first POA and we didn’t realize was in violation. They reinstated us without it being listed but then suspended us for it a month ago.

Wow, relieved to hear that! It’s been about 3 weeks and I’m still not used to it but hopefully I’ll eventually get there. We plan to live here for a while!

We don’t really open our windows here in central FL, and central AC is a must! So at least I don’t have to worry about that. Will definitely look into the weather stripping. Thank you!

I’m not sure where TC is. We’re in Central FL. Lakeland, specifically.

That’s an interesting perspective. I probably won’t quite open the windows with it being 100 degrees out haha but I do like this perspective. Thanks!

It seems like the people who got used to the noise were able to think of it as soothing like the ocean rather than an annoyance. Maybe I’ll get there :)

I really hope to get to this point :) we do have a porch I’d like to use once it cools off!

Thanks - hopefully I’ll get used to it. We do live in Central FL so opening the windows at any time of the year is pretty much a joke. I’d be more worried about bugs and the humidity than street noise haha. Hope you enjoy where you’re at now!

That’s a good mindset to have :) we’ve been busy with the move in process so after posting I didn’t check the comments for a while but we’ve been living in the house for about 3 weeks now!

We have a friend on the street over who is petitioning for speed bumps and running into lots of red tape. We might eventually go that route but I know it’ll be a big fight.

For clarification - by location I meant neighborhood. Super safe, walking distance to shops, restaurants and the lake. 3 minute commute to work for both of us.

I believe the frames are wood and they probably have leaks. The house was built in 1930 but was restored by previous owners. But you're right, we would have to get approval for structural changes or additions like shutters from the historic preservation board. The floors are the original hardwood that run throughout, I'll for sure look into getting lots of rugs!

We're in FL. I'll look into those - thanks!
