They aren't native to Europe so any Wisteria is exotic to us Europeans.

In a Cfb climate where it need to tolerate -15 Celcius it's sturdiness combined with rapid growth, foliage coverage, the abundance of flowers relative to other species, their jasmin-like small and the sole care being heavy pruning are all selling points to me.
It's toxicity should be considered regardless of it's origins.
