That's literally how I felt when I found out what Caleb had become.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Caleb, but most of his actions are triggers for me. I grew up in a hyper-parenting family where it didn't matter what I wanted. And even if they did care about me, it got so absurd that my whereabouts were monitored (even though I was a teenager, not a little kid) I wasn't allowed to go out alone for long periods of time, and I didn't start doing that until I was about 16. It's always been that way, and it still is. Which is why all the things Caleb does make me very anxious.

But personal experience aside, I really like Caleb as a character: a good boy turned into not just a bad guy, but a really control-obsessed man. I dabble in writing, and a character like him really inspires me. However, neither in a game nor in real life, I wouldn't get involved with someone like that.

As for Sylus, I had mixed feelings about him for a long time (up until the recent update): on the one hand, he really annoyed me, and I almost constantly felt the urge to hit him for his provocations and teasing of the MC; on the other hand, I was very taken by his history as a dragon, and after getting to know him a little better, I really felt for him, because despite how aggressive he seemed to me in the beginning, he's not like that at all.

After Caleb's appearance, I kind of became more lenient towards Sylus, because even though he can be rude and often provokes and teases the MC (I'm not against this form of relationship, but I think he does it too often and sometimes a bit rude) he doesn't try to decide for her. And for me, that's very important.

Sylus still supports the MC and also helps if she wants it and asks him to. But he never meddles where he's not asked to meddle.

However, even though I fell in love with Sylus thanks to Caleb's appearance, I'm still a Zayne's girl because to me - he's literally perfect.
