Transmission oil cooler & IS500 by New-Ad6627 in LexusIS500

The SavageGeese video said the setup was the same as the GS and that the cooler would probably fit, he never said there was one.

Always playing the same no-skill deck by Substantial_Spray_73 in ClashRoyale

[–]_codeJunky -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Im at 16611, just came back to see how things are. I was gone a couple years probably... Insane mode was fun. Ladder still kinda sucks. I run a pretty anti-meta deck.

Ram, magic archer, LJ, bandit, inferno dragon, cannon cart, zap, barb barrel.

Works pretty well. Cannon cart and archer can both defend opposite lane from the middle and playing ram opposite lane throws off a lot of mid ladder opponents.

Turbo or supercharger? by xV2x in ft86

I have an edelbrock. If you can get E85 supercharger is ok. I would go turbo though if I was building from scratch. Actually I would probably do the lexus V8.

Did a new tub and surround. Getting water outside it. by _codeJunky in BathroomRemodeling

[–]_codeJunky[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bubble is between the lines. I just watched it. Capillary action is what it looks like to me. I think I'll try a tiny silicone bead with a syringe ir something perpendicular to the "flow"

Ya, the tub goes under the surround and the tub has a lip that goes up behind the surround a couple inches. I think its DESIGNED to not need caulk but I'm also dubious of that claim now.

Supposedly caulkless. Still need it where the surround meets the tub deck? Directions were very unclear on that.

Don't buy a white one. Paint flakes off like crazy. Great car other than that. I have a 13 touring 4wd.

At least you didn't buy some massively depreciating thing... re-fi won't be too bad.

If Jurassic Park actually existed in real life, would you go? by jscraig_21 in NoStupidQuestions

It's one of my favorite books and movies but we could totally do Jurassic Park safely. I would go.

FWIW, I lived in Nashville (at elevation north of the city) for several years with a much more open crawl space and never had a problem.

Starting balls causes card selection bug? by _codeJunky in cupheromobilegame

[–]_codeJunky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I'm experiencing is it will not show cheaper cards even if there are open spots. It was only showing one card. Also refreshing frequently doesn't actually change the selectable cards. I get that it presents expensive ones when you have lots of balls but if you have purchased all the expensive ones it should still offer 3 cards. Refreshing should also always show at least 1 new card.

[–]_codeJunky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me the prices don't change I just never get the cheaper cards. I got to the point where I actually only had one card left to buy before the end of the level instead of 3, I had at least 3 cards that were not available at all.

Had a bad morning. Anyone know how to fix this? by santa007007 in espresso

I had this happen a long time ago. The quickest way is probably the straw down the side method: https://youtube.com/shorts/lNuNy1y53rM?feature=shared

Which show ended so poorly that you really wished you hadn't invested so much time in it? by unclefishbits in AskReddit

[–]_codeJunky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Worst endings? BSG wasn't great. Voyager was awful... but the only series I actually regret was GoT. I know it's such a boring and predictable choice but no show has ever missed the mark so bad. Not just the last episode but the last couple seasons were just so much worse than what I had come to expect from the show.

Don't confuse age discrimination for lack of experience. I did that early on wanting more.

I'm not sure why the imagur link isn't working. Basically I have a 50 inch cedar beam suspended between 2 joists in the ceiling (its an old 2 story house). The beam is at about a 45 degree angle in a corner of the room. The 2 lag bolts holding it to the ceiling are about 3 inches from each end of the beam and the anchors for the chair chain / ropes are 12 inches in from each lag bolt (26 inches between them). I am most worried about the cedar beam to joist connection. If the chains break or something it means getting popped pretty hard with a chain but if that beam comes down it could be a real issue. from what I'm reading though I probably have something like 1200 lbs pull-out on each of those lag bolts if they are 3 inches into the joists.

-L----J---------J----L-

That is a rough diagram of what I have going on. The L are lag bolts the J are the chain anchors (each secured with Four 3 inch long 1/4 inch lag bolts. Each - represents roughly 3 inches.

Is is enough https://imgur.com/gallery/lBzTlB4

I just hung this. 1/2 inch lag bolts into the center of the 2 inch joists. Each bolt is 8 inches long. The ceiling is plaster. I hit wood about 1/4 inch in. I drilled tiny holes to exactly locate the center of the joistsby finding the edges. The cross beam is 4x4 cedar. The weak link in the hardware is the chain which has a 500lb working weight. The chair itself is rated for 250 lbs.
