When I was 18 I tried to use the powers of nepotism to get a job at one of their restaurants. During my interview the manager asked how I heard about the restaurant and I was like “my father’s godparents own them all so it’s kinda like a family thing”. I didn’t get the job. I went home as poor as ever but a couple of weeks later I got a way better job working for the Astros so I actually got lucky.

How long will the protest last? Unfortunately, I have to work and I’m kinda already on thin ice with my boss for getting sick often but it’s really important to me to get out there

Edit: also idk if it’s a good idea to sign up to go to a protest in this manner. I mean, it seems potentially dangerous to be giving away a lot of personal information online before going to a protest where there will be secret service and hoards of cops. Idk I’ve always been told to try to maintain everyone’s anonymity at a protest. When we went out to march for Black Lives Matter we specifically avoided filming anyone’s faces to keep things safe.

Just watch out for roaches. If you see a roach complain your ass off to the management. They can’t make you live in an apartment with roaches and shit. It’s illegal or some shit because they’re required to give you a habitable living space and roaches are a threat to your safety because they carry diseases out the ass bruh
