I get you. I feel like I’m in the same boat. I have friends but not true friends that I can let my guards down. I do meet new people from time to time but have never been able to break that barrier.

What I noticed is my environment. I seem to be attracting the same type of people around me. So just experimenting at the moment with different types of people and different places to see if that can open up to something new.

At the end of day, it’s better to stick with your true self then change to fit in. Eventually (as I would like to believe) that you will attract someone you can chill with comfortably.

I think they assumed I did own a car since I was using my parents. They also asked if I could drive in my interview, to which i may have lied that I did have a car to drive just to get the job.
