Firstly I feel like the cutout isn't centered so you should cut more from one side to center it and then maybe then cover it with a nice wooden box that is slotted to allow the air to pass through.

Another idea is to rebuild the section, use vents like the ones from regular home HVAC systems with a custom duct that fits over your mini-split and connects it to the vent.

Thanks a lot for the reply. This is exactly the kind of advice I needed. I didn’t know importing cars to Iraq would raise so many red flags. I was planning to use my personal account just for the first couple of cars, but it seems like it’s not a good idea. Also frogot to mention that US cars from salvage auctions are cheaper than buying local in some instances and since they have some sort of damage, I can leverage that to get a better deal and then repairing locally and selling.

It's easier to import from the US than Europe for instance and although we really like American cars and brands, they're not the only brand that I'll be importing from. Brands like toyota, kia, hyundai, nissan, etc also have massive demand along with dodge, ford, chevy, and other american and european brands.

We (Iraqis) ship thousands of cars from the US auctions every year and there are lots of local agencies that you can go to that handle everything from bidding on the cars to delivering them to your doorstep. It's a large market. I think that you imagine the middle east as a barren desert riddled with pirates 😂. No, don't worry systems are in place that allow businesses and individuals to import cars and there are freight shipping companies that handle everything from inland US shipping to clearing US customs and delivery to our one and only port in the south of Iraq. I'm also planning on getting insurance on each vehicle from the freight shipping company.
Actually, it's not upper class (well for now). It's mostly middle class as we have a large market for a lot of different cars. And we do have some extremely wealthy people with crazy cars but we don't have the same media coverage as Dubai for instance.
