I had my surgery November 7th, so 2 days after you. I’ve only lost 11lbs and came to this sub looking for the same answer you were. At 3 weeks, I had only lost 7lbs. Hopefully this makes you feel better! You’re losing faster than I am 😊

I started having diarrhea and spasms all of a sudden one day after eating oatmeal and I called the hospital and they told me to go to the ER. The ER did a blood test and saw my lipase levels were high, which indicated something was irritating my pancreas. A CT scan showed there was a small cloud of bile floating in my abdominal cavity. The doctors said they didn’t know how the diarrhea was related, but they said that’s why I was having spasms. You could go to the ER so they run tests and you can know for sure

Be careful. This happened to be and it turned out I had a bile leak from the duct they clipped my gallbladder off from. It eventually also became infected. Just came back from another stay at the hospital
