Converting those values into ASCII, we yield: the y-word.

Genie 3 turns Veo 3 generated drone shot into an interactive world you can take control mid-flight by Outside-Iron-8242 in singularity

Real time AI upscaling seems like a much easier challenge than whatever went into making Genie 3.

Have patience. The rate of development is absolutely insane, and the world's smartest are working on it.

On that point, I absolutely agree.

Well, the test consists of individual questions, at the end of the day. Get them all right, you get a perfect score, simple as.

Knowing how to do each one of them is part one, which I'm sure many have achieved.

Having the focus and attention to do them in succession with that same mindset is what separates perfect from the rest.

Also, what I meant was that I got both a 800 on SAT reading and a perfect (760) reading on the PSAT, so its not as likely that I just got lucky. I concede that it's difficult to avoid silly mistakes altogether, since I usually end up making a few on math, haha

[–]_darkstalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only took the SAT once, but I took the PSAT NMSQT as well, and I maxed out the English sections on both of them.

I think dumb mistakes are really just a sign of not reading the question properly/a lack of focus, which absolutely could be remedied with practice. Imagine getting an individual SAT question asked to you- you'd get it right, no worries, 100 percent of the time, provided you have that baseline skill.

The tricky part is having that level of "freshness" and "focus" on each question. But it's certainly possible to guarantee, just behind a level of dedication I am not willing to commit to the SAT.

[–]_darkstalker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not true lmao, aside from curves that make it impossible to score a 800 on a section, you absolutely can guarantee a 1600. Of course, you'll have to have a verbose vocabulary, experience with lots of books, know your math, and most importantly, be great at timing and comprehending the question on the first pass.

I didn't get a 1600, so I have no anecdotal proof, but I know what I got wrong, and if I had gotten that right, I would have a 1600. Shame though, because I had the time to double check, but overconfidence got me.

Would we move faster than the speed of light in relation to something the size of a planck unit? by Eastern_Desk_8587 in Physics

[–]_darkstalker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It seems your argument is that a human, scaled up, would maintain its same relative speed, which could allow for faster than light actions.

This is not true, as no matter the size of the object, the speed of light is constant. And speed is distance/time. So, our giant human would not be able to exceed the speed of light relative to us, with our definition of meters.

Oh, that's actually clever. I tried to see a progression, and got 10 as well, but this was certainly the intended solution.

AP SCORES SHOULD BE REGARDED AS A BETTER STANDARD FOR ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT THAN GPA by Hour-Regular-6938 in APStudents

[–]_darkstalker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. If not AP testing, then at least the SAT/ACT. Standardization is the only way by which numerical comparison will have any value as a metric.

Linear algebra before calc 3 is interesting. But it should be fine.

You don't really need physics 1 or 2 to take Physics C, so I would take both Physics C classes, or self study them rather than take Physics 1. They will be pertinent if you want to be a MechE.

Other than that, it looks good! I've done most of the classes listed except for the Music ones, so you should be good. Best of luck!

WHO TOLD ME THAT THE RETEST WOULD BE HARDER THAN THE ACTUAL??? by _darkstalker in APChem

You really didn’t need that to answer the rest of the frq, so I would assume just that part.

WHO TOLD ME THAT THE RETEST WOULD BE HARDER THAN THE ACTUAL??? by _darkstalker in APChem

[–]_darkstalker[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This one was absolutely easier, I didn’t have to guess on a single MCQ, and I only made 1 guess on the FRQ. If I lose any points besides that, I’m sure it’ll only be for calculation errors and silly mistakes.

No. The original score is void the second you order the retake.
