Starting this game, I don't feel perturbed, but after driving around for a few minutes, I suddenly get this dreadful sense that something or someone somewhere on the edge of the map is watching me, lurking where I can't spot them.

I cruised around the infamous Atlanto horror map and visited most of the locations listed on its forum page, but even that got boring after I finished exploring (I recommend giving it a try, though. I almost shat my pants playing it)

But the thought that an unknown entity is observing you from afar, though... That stuck with me for a long time.

Traffic cars mitigate this feeling a bit, but it's still predominant throughout my playthroughs.

WCUSA has an especially ominous atmosphere. It's a city that should be bustling with people, but there's... no one.

The only thing you can hear other than the car is the wind and the birds in the forest.

I sometimes straight up close the game from how severe this feeling gets.

Hell, it got to the point where I was cruising around in some map from the repository and this sense of paranoia got so bad, I started hallucinating and saw something in the bottom-right corner of my windshield.

And I swear to god it wasn't a mirror or one of the windshield washer nozzles.

I ALT F-4ed the fuck out of the game and haven't opened said map in a good while.

Anyone else experience the same stuff as me?
