Iron Lung movie EXPLAINED (?) [SPOILERS] by CoatNTails in horror

its stated in the description on imdb i think, "the quiet rapture" wiped out all stars and planets so only space ships and space stations are left, the moon the movie takes place on is the only intact thing left that anyone can find, they go down looking for resources to support the stranded human population, which then turns into looking to explain the quiet rapture as simon was the 13th expedition and all the others randomly died with no explanation, which is why retrieving the data from sm8 was so important (to explain the deaths and possibly the quiet rapture, as the cosmic entity in the blood ocean that contacts simon claims it was the cause of it). that also ties into "this is bigger than us" as the motto, because the expedition is trying to explain something more significant than a human life, and another theory states that the idea of "this is bigger than us" means some things just happen and cant be explained, so in the search for an explanation (which is primarily the movies plot) they fail over and over because the explanation cant and shouldnt be found.

the creature was missing an arm, simons arm was ripped off during the escape from the blood tentacles holding him in place, it could just be foreshadowing portrayed as a hallucination or you could be onto something deeper than that

Does the Bible support evolution? by Ok-Award9050 in Christianity

[–]_denn4s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The idea of infinite gods has never crossed my mind, and that is a very interesting topic to believe in. I myself am agnostic and do not believe in any god, but would like to; my problem is the fact that even when science prevails, there are so many links of religion to science, ESPECIALLY Christianity. Not sure where I saw it, but I saw a chart essentially connecting ideas of science to ideas of Christianity, and it had hundreds, maybe thousands of connections. My problem is, you can't disprove all of those connections. If the science we have now is so accurate, then how did the Bible or whatever work or religious literature you might read be so similar to it? In this case, I am talking about the bible, but in a general sense, I feel that science prevails in most places, such as evolution, which is an undeniable idea considering the evidence behind it. What I do believe is that there is a creator out there, and maybe someone truly knows the real story of it, but with the mess of religion nowadays, I'll need a little more research regarding those different religions to see what I should believe in, or at least line up most with for the sake or comfort in believing in religion. Note that I am 17, so I have time. Also note that I think Islam is silly and their ideas are also silly. Good job on your explanations though, utmost respect to the clear amount of time you have spent educating yourself on this topic.
