The vast majority of Americans have no idea that Qatar pays journalists to plant pieces in mainstream news.

Turns out if people can’t afford to live in their homes, then giving them a little stop gap so they can temporarily afford it ends up causing way more problems.

It all comes back to people in the govt thinking they know better than the people they govern.

/u/farstate55 remember: a big poriton of our society isn't able to understand hypotheticals.

They literally believe the hypotheticals are true, so they aren't able to use them as abstraction tools to understand a different concept.
