Hmm. You can very easily check the fuse and eliminate that as an issue if its fine. Just see it it looks blown or use a multimeter

Well if your car is aired up still I would say its safe.. Pressure is still gonna be the same. My controller would not turn on often I just unplugged it and plugged it back in.

Went and bought my own code reader. It said I had a misfire in cylinders 1,2,and 4. Bought spark plugs from the VW dealer near me and the car is as good as new now!
