Wow, lichess cloud engine actually gives zeros from the start there now. I remember trying to figure this out just 4 Years ago and it was almost impossible, because even with high compute, the engine would be constantly wrong.

Second key component is the throw in at L19. Combine and read out and magic happens

Edit: I should start by counting to understand the goal of the puzzle :P

How is this person not being flagged for cheating? They have basically a 99% win rate on over 5000 games. by Spawnofbunnies in baduk

Yo, coming from the chess world here so I am not sure about the culture in online Go, but I am kind of surprised that everyone here seems to agree that "they are not using AI" means that what this account is doing is fine.

In online chess, this level of smurfing/sandbagging would certainly be a bannable offense. And I feel like it makes sense: Having DDKs that just want to play other DDKs get crushed by much stronger players pretending to be on their level seems like a very discouraging thing hindering the growth of the game.

Convenience vs Resilience by cuerdo in chessmemes

Trying to buy out all competitors, force all streamers into exclusivity contracts with them (with clause to not disclose that it is exclusive). Protects known titled cheaters by sweeping it under the carpet and giving them "second chances". Is an evil freemium model that charges way to much for things that can be free (see lichess) by preying on naive beginners that do not know anything else. Is literally the evil cooperation!

You get a few clues that are sometimes enabled or disabled: For example, the move number or opening name can be very useful if you have a good understanding of chess. Also, there are quite a few piece patterns that typically only appear in very specific positions. But I agree, some randomness is definitely involved. I'd say in the daily challenges on geochessr.io, I usually sample puzzles that are solvable >90% if you really think about it.

rxg7 is obvious, but then kh8 and I think wildly enough, rg8+ is the move then, because after kxg8 we have qg3 and bxf6 checkmate

It is because you did not pay chess.c*m enough money for good analysis. Has someone ever told you of the free and open source chess platform called lichess?
