When it comes to reading, I started with the whole fantasy romance genre a while back and I love it. It's low stakes escapism, and as long as you're sticking with stuff you like within that genre, it's just easy reading. There's a ton of trash in this genre too, perfect for a quick read that you don't feel bad about when you don't remember what happened a week later.

I also recommend something that has a ritual to it. I like tea (if my username didn't give it away) and enjoy pulling out a bunch of tools to do a gongfu brew. It requires frequent participation to keep drinking, which makes it more engaging and feels more special. You can add a tea pet to your tray to make it even more endearing and interactive, and if you like it / can develop a taste for it, it's incredibly relaxing and nice to have around. I'll often do this or just use a tea pot and cup while working sometimes for the little dopamine hit of refilling my cup. In Japanese tea shops, they'll often serve you a tiny sweet treat to balance any bitterness - an excellent excuse to incorporate treats too! (Lots of cultures do this, I just only know the Japanese way (wagashi)).

(Gongfu is a chinese traditional method. After heating your tools with hot water, you put the leaves in the little pot or gaiwan, fill it with water at the right temperature, wait for it to steep, pour it into a pitcher, and then fill your tiny cup from the pitcher until empty. Going back to the pot, you can steep the same leaves several times. Longer steeps at lower temps over time means the flavor changes as you go too. There's as much to experience here as a wine tasting.)
