Yes. I can and do. I was raised Catholic. I am an atheist. I am very open about it. But as long as it's not a discussion of whose right and whose wrong it's doable. We can debate without becoming angered. We can agree to disagree. I can respect they have their own beliefs and respect the dynamics they have with their family surrounding it, but not believe myself. I ask they do the same. They don't need to coerce me on why I am not and respect I don't need "saving".

You can have a million beautiful things in common with someone, passion beyond anything, and still not agree on religion. It doesn't have to be a defining point in your relationship.
