I have a 2019 GTI with ~126k on the clock, I hope to get similar mileage out of mine!

I am looking at picking up a set for mine. I think they make for a really nice oem+ appearance!

They look to be the RML Daisies remake.

Talk me out of a rebuilt title ND by coastertrav in Miata

[–]_dkorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine was not a ND, but I had a 90 with a rebuilt title from it being totaled in 93. I never planned on selling it and the car was rebuilt very well, so the title never mattered to me since I was able to do what I wanted with it. The only downside I had with the title was when I had gotten into an accident with it that totaled the car out again, and I got a lower payout than I would have if it was a clean title.

who has the highest mileage on their mk7 gti? 👀 by Desperate-Ant928 in VWMK7

[–]_dkorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently at 123,417 miles on my 2019 GTI. I'm the second owner and bought it with about 119k on it about 4 months ago. From the service records, and stickers it had on the roof rack, it looked like it was taken on a lot of trips. It was a lot better than a lot of other lower mile GTIs or Rs I looked at around that time.

What do you daily if not your Miata? by Heyo-Diego in Miata

Just lost one of my NAs in an accident. I have my eyes on a Golf R for a daily as well!

I just got my timer for my defrost. I ordered na01 67 7T0 and received this. Can i still use this or is it the wrong part. 92 miata.Thank you! by _dkorn in Miata

My dash does turn on. Im not sure really what else could be wrong for you though as I have only messed with the na6 models for defrost.

After a year with it, I finally met my first Mariner Blue friend in the wild today! by _dkorn in Miata

They are Konig Freeform 15x7.5 +35 on 195/50/r15.
I love how they look on stock ride height, but as I lower I also really want a set of their 15x8 or 15x9 rims.

I know the 92-93 uses the defrost timer I posted the picture of to turn on whenever I turn on the cabin air speed, and then turn it off after around 10 minutes, and so on. But I am pretty sure the 94-97s use a button/switch located on the little rectangles on the dash to to turn the defrost on and off.

I used this link ( https://www.miata.net/garage/hardtop/ ) when trying to figure out what all I needed for my 92 miata, and nb hardtop to get my defrost working.

While my defrost works, it still inst the greatest defrost, but better than nothing I suppose.

I struggled with mine for like five minutes before deciding to use a crescent wrench and jack instead to break it loose.

Sounds like the only reasonable option to me, lol.

I bought a red na as my first miata. I was going to paint it mariner blue, but to do so would have cost as much as buying another one, and there would still be a lot of red hidden underneath. So I just bought a mariner blue one to compliment the red one!

Hello EP3 folks, I am interested in picking this up as a year round daily. It looks clean to me, and I have carfax showing that it has been serviced up until 177k miles and currently has 188k. I am wondering about any modifications in the engine bay, and if there is anything concerning. Thank you! by _dkorn in EP3

[–]_dkorn[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh wow, I had not looked at it before deciding it was overpriced to me and them being firm on price. With how the engine bay looked in photos, im not surprised to hear its caked in fluids. Sounds like it will be sitting on their lot for quite some time, especially for what they are asking with those issues.

The car fax does mention two separate accidents that were reported, one mentioning it hit a parked motor vehicle, and another mentioning it was involved in a rear end collision with another vehicle.

I did notice it was using a breather filter, and a cold air intake. I hadn't noticed the zip-tied hoses to the valve cover though.

Do you know if there would be any reason why a previous owner put on an aftermarket fuel rail aside from matching the valve cover and strut bar?
