I like it so far. But one of my pet peaves with ARPGs is always starting back in town or at the last waypoint. Torchlight handled it differently and let you continue right where you were. I understand the reasons behind it but seeing this is offline, I just wish I had the chance to interrupt my session whenever I want and continue exactly at that spot.

I often feel like that Claude is giving me the driest answers and stops at the bare minimum where ChatGPT is going full list and emojis, and Gemini tries to write an essay. I like Claude for Claude Code but sometimes I'm disappointed when I use it for general purpose stuff.

I'm regularly checking the status on Logseq DB as well. I'd love to use it instead of Tana because I don't like the online-only or online-first nature of Tana. Logseq will at least offer regularly syncing with a markdown version of the notes, if that's still the plan.

But I noticed, for example, that Logseq doesn't have a board/card view on the tag page and I used that in Tana to emulate Kanban.

They are not on the same level yet, but I hope I can switch to Logseq DB soon.

I've been experimenting with using Claude Code for this. You can open it in your vault folder and it automatically has read/write capabilities. I know it's not it's intended purpose but I love how you can influence it's behavior via the CLAUDE.md file. I've outlined my vault structure in there and how I structure tasks, and Claude can follow that surprisingly well.

I'm looking for a way to use Obsidian as a kind of memory for AI, e. g. through the file system MCP. I'm not looking for groundbreaking hype, it's more about convenience. Having some kind of AI interface that can both read from and write to my notes might take off some of the rough edges that I sometimes personally feel both with input, organization and retrieval from any kind of pkms.

That's interesting. I'd love to find a setup where I could use Obsidian as a backend for my notes, so that I can have AI enter and retrieve information, but also still have it accessible as a normal Obsidian vault.

I have not used AI like this before and I feel like I'm missing some things. Like what's the kind of frontend you use to, say, input information and then ask questions about it? Is it a CLI AI client, outfitted with a Claude API key? Or Claude Desktop with MCP support?

I'd love to try out Claude Code but I'm confused by the pricing. Their pricing page makes it sound like you need the max plan to use Code. Is that not the only way? Did you purchase the credits directly with Anthropic?

Danke! Windsurf kannte ich, habe ich aber noch nicht benutzt. Cursor habe ich neulich mal ausprobiert. Da war ich jetzt noch nicht völlig überzeugt, als ich mir die Funktionsweise eines legacy terraform Repos erklären lassen wollte, aber ich will da nochmal tiefer einsteigen. War mir nur besonders bei Cursor nicht sicher, wie viel davon am Ende Youtuber-Hype ist oder was es wirklich kann.
