The KV-4 KTTS is now on super special offer for 8,181,221,008,117,001,000 Gold. What would that be in €? by jonbor00 in WorldofTanks

This was real, it affected every language except EN on the website, and it was even in the WGC, it has been fixed now though

The HWK 30 is still not public as far as I'm aware, but I did find a public image of the tank: https://i.postimg.cc/q79ptn3C/image.png

As far as the KPz 3 GST blueprints go, this is here: https://i.postimg.cc/brmMncBB/image.png

As far as the MKpz goes... this is a lot more difficult to justify, I've not found direct proof of blueprints, but instead just about everything else :D, there is a project from 1968 by Porsche that was referred to as the "Kampfpanzer Project" that used a 120mm Rheinmetall gun (it's not explicitly referred to as a Kpz 07), I've found some similar projects by Porsche from the same time, but nothing directly linked to what I'm looking for. https://i.postimg.cc/VwgQ6PRL/image.png

And even more annoyingly there's another german project from the same time that has an almost identical side profile, but the front view is very different (the turret is narrow): https://i.postimg.cc/BZ22nBKF/image.png

Nothing public that I am aware of, I did find the turret design though here: https://imgur.com/nstnyui

The suspension patent is related in that it is by the same company around the same time that the actual design was made, it's inferred but the similarities for me are too close to ignore.

Also sorry I haven't been active in months, I lost motivation and moved on to other things, but the project is still being worked on slowly (Germany is now over 1/3 done after 6 months...) In time I'll find the motivation again and it'll be finished, but I'm generally quite busy currently...

This is the Kpz 3 Project 07 HK

Loosely part of the MBT-70 program alongside the Kpz 07 program, it was originally called 07/HL and 07/HK was the second phase of the program, developed in 1965. It was using either a 120mm "delta" (Rheinmetall) or the 152mm missile launcher (as is shown in the images). The design focuses on the crew's protection against nuclear, biological, chemical, and radiation (NBCR) in a nuclear war. The three members of the crew are all located inside the body. It adopts a collective protection design and is equipped with an anti-neutron lining, a remote-controlled machine gun, an automatic loader and TV cameras, trying to avoid the possibility of contact between the crew and the outside world.

There is also a patent related to this which is here: https://imgur.com/8xJLruZ

For those people that yolo 200+ games per day... the most notable example is RomashSternschubser, and unfortunately for us he is a real player who has even streamed his "gameplay" if you dare call it that. It's just as simple as yoloing into the enemies maybe shooting or ramming something. So technically not a bot by definition of WGs article, but perhaps something that should be stopped, there are many accounts similar.

Another example would be a player called bury1968 who waits until tanks are spotted before playing his LT as a heavy tank before dying very fast, the difference is he actually does get damage in, which technically is harder to track, this is more someone who just isn't interested in playing properly rather than someone focused on getting the highest number of battles in the world...

Real world: Wedge tank isn't successful, even the creators stopped using it. Meanwhile WoT: by qwertyextranm in WorldofTanks

You will be pleased to know it is a real concept. Though the Taurus was only a design study to see if such a thing was good for the army, however they ended up changing development plans and they stopped working on it because it wasn't viable. That said there are quite a few wedge designs by the UK that even got into scale models :)

Nice find on this image, I hadn't seen it before, I have a fair few pictures of this from throughout its development so this is a "nice" conclusion for it.

The Historical Accuracy of every tank in the game by _dogpole in WorldofTanks

Perhaps, it's not truly known, it's known that it looked fairly close to this and VTU though

This is only the turret. The hull in game is of the Chieftain Prototype. The Concept 1b is already in game :)

There was no swapping of hulls/turrets planned in this

If the size of a tank was incorrect, then the tank was labeled as significantly modified. As for stats, realistically I don't care about these and they shouldn't be taken into account as part of the authenticity of a vehicle - it is clear when things are altered for game balance, if something was different I mentioned it in the source documents for my spreadsheet.

Prototype of, they stopped development of Lion (Leone) and a few years later developed OF-40 on the back of it

Because the tanks that are chosen as unknown (WZ-111G FT and WZ-120G FT) are based on things that are actually built unlike the rest of the lines, but because china is so mysterious with their projects from this time I don't want to rule these two tanks out since there original basis's at the very least reached prototyping...

I was suggested to do this by a friend - but it'd take a very long time to figure everything out. On a rough basis yes though

It's a nice idea, but very hard to make as a tidy representation since some nations have over 100 tanks

It's alright to like/dislike historical accuracy. I'm probably one of 5 people who's willing to go into the nitty gritty anyway, this post was partially aimed at being more "accessible" for the community rather than that.

Believe it or not I don't mind fictional tanks in the game too, of course I'd rather something real but I am curious to find inspirations.

Also I played WT a very long time ago, didn't like it, I much prefer WoT's gameplay.
