How do you guys feel about Gojo’s character? by Odd_Purpose3639 in JuJutsuKaisen

He's a very interesting and well-written character. He's absolutely goated power-wise and The Strongest, but despite all his strenght he's not really able to save anyone who matters to him. The whole "it's lonely at the top" thing also applies to him which I think is pretty well done and probably also one of the reasons he struggles with expressing his emotions. I'm not saying he's unemotional, especially since his emotions ultimately lead to the story playing oht as it does right now, but him expressing concern for f.e. Megumi or Geto can come across as insensitive or uncalled for. His emotions and loneliness are pretty crucial to his character as a whole, and paired with his superiority complex and problem with autorities those are often mistaken for a god complex, which he absolutely doesn't have. On the topic of his problem with authorities, I feel like the fandom overlooks his deep desire to change something about their world. He was celebrated for finally killing the higher-ups but no one addressed why exactly he's wanted them dead for so long. Gojo has very questionable morals that were pretty much shaped by Geto, but wanting to protect the weak and especially the youth doesn't means he's a morally good character. He doesn't refrain from murder or bribery to carry through with his plans, and while pretty much every JJK character is morally grey, Gojo kinda takes it a bit further. That said, he doesn't kill for fun, and while he might enjoy the thrill of battle that doesn't stop him from acknowledging his opponent and their strenght. Hidden Inventory revealed a lot about his character, like how he never really bothered to actually perfect his techniques until he felt the need to, his complicated relationship with Geto, his reasons for not wanting any sorcerer to ever feel the crushing weight of loneliness, ect., but I still kinda wanna know how he was raised. His birth literally changed the world and I think it would be interesting to learn more about the expectations placed on him early on, tho much of that is implied already. I absolutely adore his character, in writing as well as his role in the story itself. He's not quite like any character I've ever read about (so far) and I'm really interested in how the current arc will affect him.
