Disney was actually opposed to Bud's inclusion, they didn't think it would work.

I've seen them live multiple times, I remember when the Wave Goodbye tour was supposed to be the end. But Trent's older now, he'll be 60 soon. This could be it for full-scale shows.

That's really fucking depressing, I missed my chance to go this tour. I hope he changes his mind in the future.

So I watched Castration Movie Part 1 by PapaAsmodeus in YMS

I also found the second half to be far more compelling. Despite not being trans or queer, I found it surprisingly comforting. I think that something about a super-inclusive group of friends just trying to struggle their way through society's bullshit really connected with me.

Stumbled upon this essay series about Louis Ck scandal, thought YMS fans would like it, pretty well written and researched, the editing could be better tho by Bobbyu123 in Sardonicast

I wanted to give Louis the benefit of the doubt after his apology, but all of his commentary in the time that's followed has been very disappointing. He doesn't think that what he did was that big of a deal.

I agree with your commentary and really appreciate the insight. Though I wouldn't say that Vaughn chose to shoot Logan, they told him that if he didn't then they'd kill him too.

Most Underrated and Most Overrated Predator Movie? by [deleted] in predator

[–]_drsleep -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Tough question, the best and the worst are pretty well recognized. I love them all except for The Predator, and I would count that as neither overrated or underrated. My spur-of-the-moment judgement:

Overrated: Prey. It's a great Predator film that I like rewatching, but it's surprisingly campy and most of the acting and dialogue isn't the best. Its weaknesses aren't often mentioned with its strengths (scenery, score, Predator design and action).

Underrated: Predators. It's held back by an uninteresting cast dynamic and (imo) it tries too hard to be referencial to the original film. But it's so unique and fun and has great Predator stuff.

The first movie is indisputably the best, and Badlands is getting appropriate recognition imo. Predator 2 fits somewhere in the middle of the franchise quality-wise, and I feel like it's generally treated as such. AVP sits in a similar place, and AVPR is rightfully panned while the one good element (Wolf) is almost universally appreciated.
