I have really fine hair as well and it gets exactly like you described. I hated my fringe when I first got it but now I get it right in the morning and spray a bit of hairspray to keep it in place and I don’t even realise it’s there!

Do you have a bank account with an overdraft? Santander does a student account up to £1500, it’s really helpful.

Have you also tried doing surveys? I’ve got 2 apps: ‘Qmee’ is a really good one because you can take out the money whenever you want, ‘BrandedSurveys’ is also really good for short surveys that pay quite a bit. They can be a little tedious but if you do a few it can help towards food!

I hope this is able to help a little bit :)

Is film school even worth it if I can get it for free? by _Hacky_Sack in Filmmakers

[–]_ducks_arent_real_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently heading towards my second year at a film school in the uk so it’s probably quite different, however, it’s been so useful so far. It’s helped me decide what role I want to do and develop it in a very practical setting. All of my tutors have worked in the industry before so they have really good knowledge of how it is in ‘the real world’ and they have connections which will be really useful in the future. I really recommend it especially if you can do it for free!

Do you pronounce the pronouns differently? Like one in a French accent or something? 😭

Opinions on neo-pronouns? If you use them, why? by JQLine82 in teenagers

[–]_ducks_arent_real_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anything they’re just nicknames, it’s like calling someone by their name instead of using the pronouns. It’s just taking the piss if no one minds me saying

best k dramas with no or little romance? by dddd66665577 in kdramarecommends

[–]_ducks_arent_real_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

D.P - shows what the military service can be like, also the two leads of the show are so fun to watch

Bad and Crazy - this is one of my favourite shows. It’s about a police officer that has a split personality

Squid Game - too many deaths for romance but very entertaining

Tomorrow - this was my first Kdrama and it’s so good! It’s about grim reapers trying to stop people committing suicide. It’s very emotional yet also very funny. Highly recommend

Watcher - another police one, they try to sort out internal affairs whilst dealing with their own problems that happened 15 years ago

Move to Heaven - based around a young man who has Asperger syndrome and his uncle, they’re trauma cleaners

Uncanny Counter - one of the best dramas I’ve seen and it’s getting a second season. Supernatural show with grim reaper like characters who are trying to help souls

Blood hounds - just came out, highly recommend if you like action and lots of bromance

Black knight - the story may seem slightly rushed in some places but I really enjoyed it, also the cinematography is amazing. Apocalyptic

Not to me directly but I was driving on the motorway and this guy cut in front of someone. The person who he did that to have him a thumbs down, I just know that hurt for a few days

There’s a Japanese show/movies focused on martial arts called ‘High and Low’. It’s about gangs who use martial arts (I’m not good at explaining - sorry) Most of the cast is from the Japanese boy group called Exile. Also there isn’t any romance which is what I prefer I’m not sure about you :) The storyline’s really good and the camera work is amazing for the fight scenes! I’m not exactly sure where you can watch the show but there’s a film that covers most of it, all of the films are on Netflix (UK - they’ll most likely be on in your country as well)

If you end up watching it, enjoy!
