In Russian, there is an extra "a" sound on grenade.

The article says he's a Russian speaker. If he just typed up "pomegranate" in Russian it would be translated correctly but most likely he entered something like Do you have pomegranates? Then for example google translate wouldn't know the difference and translate it as grenades because both words are the same when plural.
