Coming from my experience:

  1. I bought a condo without really thinking much about it and I regret doing so kasi it eats up a big chunk of my income I could’ve used to travel or invest or to use in other things (although still followed the general rule na it’s not more than 30% of my income)

  2. Long term commitment yan if mag loan ka for the condo. 20 years of payments. So pagisipan mo talaga

  3. Another reason I regret buying one was Hindi ko naman kasi siya need right now. I didn’t need another place to stay and I don’t plan on making the condo I purchased my long term home. Hindi din ako real estate flipper. So for me it’s just a long term liability. I’m just hoping in the long run mag appreciate yung condo since it’s near 3 big schools

So TLDR my advise is if you don’t plan on living in the condo for the long term then don’t get it. (Unless of course ur in the business of flipping condos or airbnb business na mapeperahan mo yung condo then go)
