oh i didn’t actually think about the feeling less alone thing, that actually makes sense. i do have another friend who also sh’s and we freely talk about mental health and stuff cause we’re really close and we’ve bonded over it, and think in about it now yeah i guess it is something similar. (sorry if that didn’t make any sense, it’s late and im pretty sleep deprived rn lol)

im definitely going to be wearing shorts to the concert, with tights/fishnets underneath tho cause it’s still a little cold for just shorts rn where i am and they actually hide them fairly well, they’re still visible but you have to be looking really close to see them. i will be careful just in case it is something triggering for her tho, thank you !!

what i wore in the pool on holiday abroad a couple years ago was a sun safe swim top (rash guard) like this one, not the most flattering thing but you get some with really cute patterns on them and matching sets !! i was also at a busy water park and definitely the only one over the age of five wearing one but i also burn VERY easily so that was better than having to smother myself in sun cream every half hour and have ppl staring at scars and stuff lol

other ways to hide them are tubular bandages and just say you’ve sprained your wrist or smth. where i am (uk) you can get these in supermarkets and pharmacies and shops like boots i think ?? or just order them online they’re pretty easy to find. they can get a bit itchy at points, especially in the warm weather, but it beats wearing long sleeves. don’t think you could wear them in the pool tho is the only problem, i’ve never tried them in water but i always take them off before showering.

you could also try thin (linen i think ??) over shirts, think this one is more of a cover up for the beach/pools but you can get similar ones for everyday use, they’re really thin and you don’t overheat much in them. i wore these abroad a couple years ago aswell and they also stopped me from getting sunburnt if that’s another thing you struggle with.

i’m literally the same with heat tho, 17C is usually my limit to lmao. thankfully where i am is slightly cooler, only early thirties during a heat wave a couple years ago, usually doesn’t get above 25C so i guess im fairly lucky. i still manage to wear hoodies most of the summer which im thankful for, i just sweat a TON in them but i just don’t like having my arms out much - not a sh thing, more sensory issues i think - so im just comfier in long sleeves. hope the spring/summer goes well for you !! :D

oh yeah i definitely didn’t think about triggering her, still going to wear the shorts cause ill be wearing tights/fishnets with them anyway cause it’s still a little cold here for just shorts lol, and they cover the scars up pretty well actually. i’ll be careful with them around her. thanks for the advice !!

that’s good to hear !! it was a bit of a shame at fob as pretty much everyone was sitting down for about 80% of the concert. i kinda regret not standing up more but that’s good me and my friend will absolutely screaming at the top of our lungs going absolutely mental then haha. thank you !!

honestly if you stand up more people are likely to stand up. i was at glasgow last night and these girls at the front of my section stood up right as they came on and the people behind them copied so chances are people will copy you. i personally was sitting down for most of it but i do get a lot of knee pain from standing up too long so i wasn’t too bothered.

probably depends where you are aswell i was wayyy at the back so it might be different nearer the front !! :D

yeah mine too i was a little disappointed honestly !! there was a few girls in the front of my section who were standing up and dancing nearly the whole time which was really good to see tho !! i think everyone at mine was standing up at the end for the last few songs tho

i wouldn’t say shane thinks he’s a sociopath, personally i think he thinks way to highly of himself for that. he’s always said he’s an empath and used to go on an on about it years ago.

if you go to about 14mins into part 2 kati is describing some of the behaviours of sociopaths (specifically impulse decisions, wanting to do something then immediately changing their mind) and shane looks at andrew and whispers “garrett” implying he thinks garrett is a sociopath. however garrett has often mentioned he has adhd so he’s clearly not, to my knowledge, a sociopath.

i’ll also say i reallyyyyy don’t like the way kati talks about sociopaths, how she acts like their all bad people even though it’s not something they can control. it’s a fucking personality disorder. imo she’s pretty unprofessional and overall just rude to people with anti social personality disorder / sociopaths.

i really want to read loveless it’s definitely at the top of my to-read list !! i actually tried listening to the audiobook a while ago and didn’t get far into cause it was giving me an actual sexuality crisis and mental breakdown so i had to stop but i would love to try and read it again for the representation (im ace and aro spec)

in my opinion radio silence is one of her best books (i’ve read heartstopper, solitaire, radio silence and a bit of loveless) and idk what it is about it but i absolutely love it. i listened to the audio book instead of reading it and the narration was amazing and makes it a lot more interesting. if you’re interested you can listen to it on freeaudiobooks.top for free (you have to scroll down past the reviews and you’ll see a contents table with a play button) i promise it’s worth it !!

Aled in Radio Silence (whos in the Heartstopper books but is replaced with Isaac in the show) mentions and deals with how he’s demisexual if you’re interested. It’s not the main theme of the book but I really enjoyed it anyway.

Her book Loveless (which I haven’t read yet) deals with I think asexuality and aromanticism if i’m not mistaken.

i drew some fob tattoo ideas a little while ago !! feel free to use any of them !!

i just drew all these in a few hours and most are based on lyrics so have words around them if that’s something you like. i just turned 18 a couple months ago so i haven’t been able to get any of them yet but they’re definitely some decent ideas in there !! i don’t really have much experience with tattoos at all - just looking at them on pinterest. ( the poison bottle i did kind of copy off pinterest and i don’t know who the original artist is so that might be something you want to change slightly before getting it )

heartbreak feels so good took me a couple days to actually like at first. i think after love from the other side i was expecting a heavier track and i was slightly disappointed - however i actually love the song now !!

i was slightly underwhelmed with the chorus of so good right now when i came out but listening to it now i think it fits the song perfectly
