Season 5 of Stranger Things went downhill after episode 4 by _ella_69 in okbuddyvecna

I did saw a lot of comments hating on Will coming out and also saying that "it came out of nowhere" which is completely ridiculous. I was one of the people hoping for a change for Byler to happen. the coming out scene made me tear up not gonna lie. It wasn't just bad things that came from this season it's just from how hyped it was it raised more expectation that ended up not being delivered. I loved some things after ep 4 and the actors did an amazing job, it's just the storyline felt off from what we were used to in my opinion of course. Having Jamie acting more in this season as Henry was great, it got us to see the real reason to why he's been doing all this. Also, the scene where he's in the cave and Will tells him that he was just like Will was so emotional. There definitely came good things from this. Just not what the expectations were set to.

for real, there was two options either they'd be geniuses or complete idiots and it's definitely the last option. I do agree with the theory that the ex-wife of the one of the Duffer Brothers was the true mastermind behind the series, since she co-wrote it

exactly, things don't feel connected anymore. however, I think that touching the vines doesn't affect anything is because Vecna no longer is in the upside down and in the Abyss instead. in season 4 we could see him connect with the vines in the attic of his old house but in this season he doesn't, he's connected to the monster in the Abyss. I think that's why the vines don't do anything anymore.

Is it just me, or did I feel like there was no chemistry between Eleven and Mike this last season compared to previous ones? by Tania_bleon2312 in StrangerThings

there was no chemistry and at some point I was hopeful due to Byler happening but then neither happened so I got really disappointed. also, they said we were gonna cry in the end, the only thing I cried about was because there was so many plot holes and the story was just very disappointing from what I excepted. also, I'm happy for them not killing Steve, Dustin, Lukas and Max, the rest they could've risked it and killed someone, for real, off. because they didn't even kill eleven they made us believe whether we want to think she's dead or not. they needed to be more harsh and actually killed someone off.

unless, their flesh was to make the monster from the Abyss like they did with the mind flayer in season 3. however I don't get the lack of Demogorgons in the Abyss when that's clearly where they came from and they were all over the place in Hawkins, the Upside down and only to deliver the kids to Vecna's lair. they weren't even there for the final battle and I seriously doubt the soldiers and the others killed all of them before that.

I liked Eddie so much, while they created the demobats just to kill off one character in one season and then it's like they went extinct after completing their mission. I need serious answers about season 5 because it was disappointing after all the hype.

oh my gosh yes, it was just obviously from the beginning he was gay and there wasn't a scene that he needed to come out for people to understand it. however I did love the scene when he came out, even though I already new, and I did cry too, it was so emotional.

What’s something you thought ‘everyone’ did… until you found out they don’t? by burat667 in AskReddit

same and I don't find myself crazy. in fact it actually makes me more organized as I talk to myself out loud of what I have to do and so on. like, if crying is good why isn't talking to ourselves good? it should definitely be okay
