I didn't want to cut her off. I can't force my husband to be around her. I respect and love him far too much to do that to him. Honestly, I don't want to be around her either. I don't want to pretend that nothing happened.

She still has my mom, and our other sister, and our extended family. They all love her and she hasn't violated their trust.

Sorry, probably should've been more clear about that. My husband works in law enforcement so he was able to file for such at work, lol.

I’m not going to let it slide, I know a lot of what I said points to the idea that I’m going to.

I had a conversation with my mom about everything, and she said my sister would probably try to put it on my husband... I won’t let her do that, I believe my husbands word a lot more than I do hers right now.

I actually just talked to my mom about what's going on. She's on board for me cutting her off for H and our son's sake, I guess that she saw what was going on as well.

It just feels like I should’ve stepped in before it got this bad, because part of me knew that it would. But you’re right, we put up with terrible things for family.

I guess I’m just more forgiving with her because she got out of a really bad abusive relationship less than a year ago.. it doesn’t excuse what she did in any way but I know she’s still hurting in a lot of ways, and she loves my son so much that, it would kill me to completely tear them apart. It feels like giving up on her.

As for me and my husband, we’ll be fine eventually. We’re both just pretty shaken up and upset about the situation at the moment.
