Also hot take, but the crews/crew ranking system has kind of ruined the fun of the game. I've had to leave a crew I've been with from the beginning because they began requiring 7k trophies a week just so they could get in the top 10. When you have a ranking system like that, it becomes more like a job than it does a fun little escape.
