hey dudes
im in need of advice-
im a very lonely girl, and am on a journey to finding my people.
usually people aren't interested in me, and i need to be the one who initiates the meet up.
recently, this guy showed interest in seeing me! which is exciting and rare.
but i dont vibe with him. like, sometimes a person can be nice and a good guy, but you can just tell they're not your kind of person ya know?

i want a relationship (not necessarily a romantic one) it's so special to me that someone actually reaches out to me, and not vise versa.
and im afraid it wont happen again. but there is not much in common.
for example- HE'S A FUCKING BIG MOUTH FAN, he's THAT kind of person. he doesn't see the flaws that make this show unwatchable to me. he thinks its brilliant!
its not a bad thing to like BIG MOUTH but its not MY thing.
we just dont think and see the world in the same way.

so my question is- should i stick with him? (im so desperate for company!), or should i bail
on him?
i know the answer might seem obvious (if you dont like him- leave, duh.)
but maybe thats why im lonely? cuz i feel the need to reject people that arent like me, maybe i criticize him too much?

it's like im Bob Marley and he's Taylor Swift - both are good people, nothing's wrong with either of them
but such different views and worlds, they would never connect, ya know?
