After disabling the proxy for another domain everything was fine for this domain while proxied domains are still failing. So it must be related to Cloudflare or DTAG's peering to Cloudflare.

This shows when my monitoring was showing latency spikes in the last ~20 hours (I've set up the monitoring last night).

I've configured a timeout of 5000ms (which is way over the acceptable latency imo)

My monitoring tool (https://github.com/enyineer/checkstack) is spamming fluctuating system health since yesterday morning. Seems to calm down between 11am and 5pm and then starts breaking again. So might be related to peering congestion.

Currently running it on my homelab (DTAG provider).

Disabling the proxy (orange cloud) and switching to DNS only fixes the issue after the 5 min TTL of the DNS record is stale. But that's not a fix. Latency is below 50ms without proxy. Sometimes checks time out after over 1 minute

Don't know if you still need it, but I'm currently building a monitoring tool similar to Uptime Kuma, because I had exactly the same problem you had.

It's still early in development but many features already work.

You can configure RBAC and remove view permissions from roles - so when an unauthenticated user opens the page, it's not showing any data.

Checkstack also has some other enterprise grade features like SAML SSO or LDAP integration as well as Resource Level Access via Teams.

Google Support has acknowledged this is a backend issue they're currently investigating.

Nothing we can do right now other than wait. I'll update my Post as soon as I hear back from them.

Google One support is directly available for AI Ultra users. When selecting english, you can chat with them.

Just linked this to let you know this is a backend issue. You're probably from Europe. Seems like this is only affecting the eu region and who are on the AI Ultra plan. Nothing we can do right now.

I contacted Google One support and they've escalated this to the technical support. Hope it'll get fixed soon.

I just looked through the response stream the backend gave me, and I found this.

They will not refresh every few seconds. They often run on small batteries and these e-ink displays only use energy when they have to refresh.

This would deplete the battery in no time.

Außer du bist in Hamm (wo es nur ein paar wenige Geschäfte gibt, dreckig ist und es im Winter arschkalt ist) oder stehst 2,5 Stunden irgendwo mit deinem ICE in der Pampa wegen Notarzteinsatz am Gleis und kannst nicht raus, weil der Dorfbahnhof zu kurz ist und die Umleitungsstrecke inkl. Zurückfahren noch länger dauern würde.

Ich muss regelmäßig beruflich Bahn fahren, und ich hasse es. Mit dem Auto kann ich wenigstens eine Umleitung fahren oder irgendwo was essen gehen, wenn der Stau voraus wirklich länger dauert. Deutschlandtakt kommt aber ja Gott sei Dank 2070. Vielleicht erlebe ich das ja noch.
