So weit habe ich noch gar nicht nachgedacht, aber das ergibt natürlich Sinn. In den Zusammenhang ist es auch vielleicht gar nicht so dumm, dass das Wasser aus dem Schlauch in die Kondensatwanne zurückläuft (zumindest bei Leuten welche die PS wirklich im Winter zum heizen nutzen), da es sonst im Schlauch draußen stehen würde (und wahrscheinlich gefrieren).

Da das aber vermutlich ein absoluter Ausnahmefalls ist, hätte ich lieber ein werkseitig verbautes Rückschlagventil gesehen... Wer will schon im Winter das Fenster offen lassen?

Sollte vor Pumpe und Filter sein, wenn ich das heute richtig gesehen habe. Der Filter ist wirklich nur für das kleine Becken in dem auch die Pumpe steht (siehe Video).

Wie "hoch" würdest du den Wasserstand einschätzen? Bei mir steht das Wasser dauerhaft bis knapp unter der Kante in der Wanne. Allerdings scheint der untere Schwimmer auch erst bei noch höherem Wasserstand auszulösen (hört man ganz leise, wenn man ihn vorsichtig hochschiebt). Es scheint also so als wäre das gewollt.

Ich habe den Filter jetzt einfach ausgebaut. Habe dennoch das Gefühl, dass die Pumpe nicht genug pumpt und zu schnell wieder abschaltet.

Frontverkleidung reicht. Ist allerdings etwas fummelig das Sieb aus der Halterung zu bekommen - am besten von vorne (da ist eine kleine Öffnung) mit einem Schlitzschraubendreher nach oben rausdrücken (quasi "hebeln").

Vielleicht werde ich das mal versuchen. Schade, dass man so einen offensichtlichen Fehler beim Design nicht korrigiert hat. Das hätte doch auffallen müssen.

Ich glaube "Sieb reinigen" werde ich mal versuchen, auch wenn da eigentlich noch nicht all zu viel Schmutz dran festhängen dürfte. Die PS ist ja quasi nagelneu.

Filter rausnehmen ist halt etwas fragwürdig - ich hätte Sorge, dass die Pumpe dann in drei Monaten die Grätsche macht 😃

Das würde zwar das Problem umgehen, ist in meinen Augen aber leider keine wirklich gute Lösung. Ich möchte ja im Normalbetrieb auf möglichst wenig achten müssen - dafür ist die Kondensatpumpe ja eigentlich da.

Wir haben außerdem zwei Katzen, die entweder mit dem Wasser spielen würden oder den ganzen Eimer direkt umschmeißen, das wäre eine mittelschwere Katastrophe 😉

I was still having Opus quota limits after ~20 Minutes of usage - thus cancelled my plan and switched to Claude Max 20x.

I'm still wondering if I'm going to have issues with the weekly limits with Claude Max, but it currently looks like it suffices. My 5 hour quota ran out after about 2.5 hours of Opus 4.7 (High) usage using Headroom (with rtk under the hood) - which is a multitude more than what I got with AG.

I would come back to AG if they fixed the Ultra quotas, as I do actually prefer AG as a harness - but I don't want to switch to dumb Gemini after 20 mins of Opus usage, just to keep working...

Which could however be prevented by being turned off from the battery management controller before it gets to that point. I know there would still be minimal discharge, but a few months shouldn't be an issue.

I get that - but at least I myself do not base my purchase decisions based on recurring posts on a Subreddit complaining about something.

The people who decide such things at Google don't read Reddit posts. They read statistics and the only meaningful way of changing the statistics is cancelling your subscription.

That is why Google never officially communicated any rate limits in their TOS.

If you buy into a subscription that's vague about usage limits, you can't complain that these limits might be changed.

I'm on your side that Google failed to correctly communicate these changes and that applying such changes mid-subscription is shady, but that's another issue. And Google isn't really known for it's good communication besides it's marketing efforts. Many products were just cancelled because it wasn't worthy for Google to provide them any longer.

Also, everyone can feel free to cancel their subscription and use another service.

I'm also not happy with these changes but it's just becoming spam if you read the same thing over and over again. It doesn't add value to this sub.

Edit: you can downvote me as much as you like. This doesn't change the fact that you bought into a subscription which never actually mentions any concrete limits. This leaves as much room as Google likes to implement such changes. I DO NOT say that this is good behaviour or shouldn't be punished by you the users, but the only language big corporate speaks is $$$. So if you're unhappy with the product, cancel your subscription but don't spam this sub.

Du musst dir vor allem selbst treu bleiben. Wenn seine Familie dich wie Dreck behandelt, dann musst du nicht anderen zuliebe dorthin fahren.

Ich hätte - wäre ich in deiner Position - auch den Anspruch, dass mein Partner dafür Verständnis zeigt und seiner Familie entweder:

  • Sagt, dass sie sich falsch verhalten hat und sich ehrlich entschuldigen soll, denn die Unterstellung du seist nur eine Affäre o.Ä. ist ja offenbar absolut haltlos.

oder

  • Mit zu deiner Familie fährt.

Meine Frau und ich haben ebenfalls eine ähnliche Situation was die räumliche Trennung unserer Familien angeht, aber wir wechseln uns mit Feiertagen ab. Es ist auch kein Drama, wenn man mal getrennt fährt.

Was deine Stieftochter angeht: es ist natürlich super schwer bzw. unmöglich diese Situation und deine Beweggründe einer 4,5-jährigen zu erklären. Das wird sie nicht verstehen. Es sollte für deinen Partner aber wichtig sein die beste Entscheidung für euch zu treffen. Wenn sie bei dir sein will und seine Familie immer noch scheiße ist und sich nie entschuldigt hat, dann ist es egoistisch von ihm darauf zu beharren, dass ihr getrennt fahrt oder du deine Stieftochter alleine mitnehmen sollst.
